Edinburgh born-and-bred wing, Damien Hoyland, joined his hometown club from Borders side Melrose in summer 2014.
The Scotland age-grade and sevens internationalist made his Edinburgh debut in the starting XV against Ospreys at Myreside in February 2015.
In August 2015 he was named on the bench for Scotland’s second Summer Series game against Italy in Turin and made his debut in the 63rd minute.
His first national team start came in the opening game of Scotland’s short summer tour to Japan in June 2016.
