Our Burgh summer sessions coming soon!

Edinburgh Rugby has set out its summer plans with an array of open training sessions and Our Burgh community visits coming to an area near you.

The capital club will run a trio of open training events in the build-up to the new campaign, giving Burgh fans the chance to see the squad in action as preparations intensify throughout pre-season.

Fans can come along and watch the squad being put through their paces at the University of St Andrews on Thursday 27 July, with the team based at ‘The Home of Golf’ for a week-long training camp.

Supporters can then look forward to another open session the following month as Edinburgh Rugby head south to train at Netherdale, Galashiels – the home of Gala RFC – on Friday 25 August, having previously held an open day at the nearby Greenyards earlier this year.

The capital side will then return home to Edinburgh for an open event in September with a specific date and time to be confirmed at a later date.

Further details on how you can attend all open training sessions will be shared later this summer.

Edinburgh will also be out and about in the local community as part the club’s ongoing Our Burgh community outreach programme.

Having visited the local Blackhall Community Sports Day last weekend, the club’s players will also be in attendance at Haddington Show on Saturday 1 July, while assisting Official Property Consultancy Partner Galbraith at The Royal Highland Show on Saturday 24 June.

The team also have a variety of sessions planned outwith the team’s training schedule at EH12 with a ‘Friday Finisher’ organised at Arthurs’ Seat on Friday 30 June, giving you the chance to watch the team put through their paces at one of Edinburgh’s most iconic landmarks.

Fans can expect a whole lot more activity to come from the capital club in the community this summer – follow the club’s social media channels and subscribe to the electronic newsletter for all the latest
