1872 Cup Competitions
In the build up to this season's 1872 Cup we are launching a week of competitions for everyone to enter with a number of amazing prizes up for grabs!
COMPETITION ONE: Win the Ultimate Edinburgh Rugby Hamper
Prize: A bottle of Uhuru Rum, hospitality for two at the 1872 Cup decider on Saturday 30 December, a signed 2023/24 replica jersey, an Edinburgh Rugby scarf, and an Edinburgh Rugby cap.
How you can win: Simply purchase your tickets for the unmissable festive decider before 12pm on Thursday 30 November and you’ll be automatically entered into the prize draw.
The prize draw is open to all UK residents over the age of 18 and the winner will be chosen at random ahead of the intercity clash in the capital.
All existing ticket holders and 2023/24 season ticket members will be automatically entered into the competition.
Running: Tuesday 28 November – Thursday 30 November
COMPETITION TWO: Win 1872 Cup Hospitality for four
Prize: The winning prize will be four hospitality tickets at the Edinburgh Rugby v Glasgow Warriors match at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Saturday 30 December (kick-off 3pm).
Runners-up prizes are:
- A pair of half-season tickets (second place)
- An Edinburgh Rugby replica shirt (third place)
- An Edinburgh Rugby signed ball (fourth place)

COMPETITION THREE: Fly a Fan Home
Prize: A return flight from a major UK airport to Edinburgh Airport for two people, one night’s accommodation in Edinburgh and two hospitality tickets to Edinburgh Rugby vs Glasgow Warriors at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Saturday 30 December (kick-off 3pm).

COMPETITION FOUR: Win the chance to interview a player!
Prize: One lucky Burgh Junior member is going to get the chance to interview an Edinburgh player in the lead-up to the 1872 Cup!
