Kinghorn at 15 for France test
Blair Kinghorn starts at full-back as one of nine Edinburgh men selected to face France at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Saturday.
After a victorious first outing against Italy in the Famous Grouse Nations Series, Gregor Townsend has rung the changes, with versatile club centurion Kinghorn donning the 15 jersey – having impressed in the back three from the bench last weekend.
He is joined in the outside backs by fellow club-mates Darcy Graham and Duhan van der Merwe, the latter fresh from a brace at the home of Scottish rugby in his return to the side.
Pierre Schoeman starts at loosehead prop, alongside Ewan Ashman at hooker – who recently signed for Edinburgh on a four year deal from Sale Sharks.
Grant Gilchrist will vice-captain the side at lock, while fellow club centurion Hamish Watson starts at openside flanker.
In the replacements, Edinburgh pair of Dave Cherry and WP Nel will look to make an impact in the latter stages at hooker and tighthead respectively.
