Can you share a bit about the history of Dropkick Murphys?
Dropkicks is everyone’s favourite Irish bar nestled right in the heart of the city’s ever-popular Grassmarket area.
We are a late night pub open from 7pm to 3am, with live music from 9pm!
What unique experiences sets you apart from others in your industry?
Our ‘Split the G’ challenge is a pub game that has gained popularity through social media platforms and winners receive a commemorative t-shirt.
We also run a vintage sportswear shop on Depop. We host a weekly market every Sunday at our bar, providing an opportunity for individuals to explore and purchase unique fashion pieces in person.

Having closely followed Ben Healy’s career from his time at Munster his subsequent move to Edinburgh Rugby, and his international representation with the Scotland national team, we believe he embodies the qualities and expertise that align with Dropkick Murphys.
What qualities do you admire in Ben, both as a player and as a person?
Ben is a stand-off with a huge amount of character who always has belief in his own game. We love his confidence and his ability to pull the strings in the Edinburgh No. 10 jersey!

Integrating the karaoke trailer into the Edinburgh Rugby fan zone has been a highly successful addition, providing an engaging and enjoyable experience for participants. We sincerely hope that the Edinburgh fans have enjoyed it as much as we have.
How has this partnership helped raise awareness of your brand and services?
Edinburgh Rugby is a great brand association for us. We very much want to be part of the Edinburgh Rugby fans night and that we are their next stop after the game.
Hive Stadium has a great party like atmosphere and we feel that matches up with ourselves. We have been able to connect Edinburgh Rugby with a large student market and working with the team at Hive Stadium have created some really great experiences for students.
