TRAVELLING TO HIVE STADIUM

BY TRAM

Edinburgh Trams runs a fast, frequent service to the entrance of the stadium from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park and Ride, Edinburgh Gateway and Haymarket. Alight from the Murrayfield Stop.

Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at trams stops or on the Transport for Edinburgh App.

BY BUS

There are many bus services that run throughout the city with the following services passing close to the stadium:

Lothian Buses:

  • 1, 2, 22, 30 at Westfield Road
  • 3, 25, 33, 38 at Gorgie Road
  • 12, 26, 31 at Corstorphine Road
  • Airlink: 100 at Corstorphine Road
  • First Bus: 21A, 22, 38, 38A at Corstorphine Road
  • Scottish Citylink: 900 at Corstorphine Road

BY FOOT

Hive Stadium is approximately a 45-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre and 20-minutes from Haymarket. From Princes Street head to Shandwick Place, which leads on to Atholl Place, then onto Haymarket Terrace. Continue and either turn left onto Roseburn Street at the Roseburn Bar (for the East/West Link) or continue and turn left onto Riversdale Crescent at the Murrayfield Bar (for the Ice Rink or Riversdale entrances).

BY BIKE

Bicycle parking is available at Edinburgh Rugby matches. Supporters arriving at the East/West Link will be advised to park their bikes at the tram stop. Those arriving via Gate D will be able to park their bikes in Saughton Hall Car Park.

Please note, Edinburgh Rugby takes no responsibility for theft or damage to bikes left at this location.

BY CAR

There is no parking at the stadium for Season Ticket Members or general supporters.

Edinburgh has seven Park & Ride sites in and around the city. The Ingliston Park & Ride would be the most convenient for accessing the stadium. For more information on the Park & Ride services click here.

Please note, that there is no vehicle access to the stadium via Roseburn Crescent.

BLUE BADGE PARKING: There are a number of Blue Badge parking spaces available for wheelchair and accessible ticket holders. Parking for Blue Badge holders will be in Saughtonhall Car Park on matchday and access is via Saughtonhall Bridge

BY TRAIN

There are two main train stations in Edinburgh. The stadium is 20 minutes by tram/train from Edinburgh Waverley and just seven minutes by tram (or a 20 minute walk) from Edinburgh Haymarket.

Edinburgh’s stations are part of the East Coast mainline which links Aberdeen to London. There are also regular trains between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh. More info on trains.

BY AIR

Edinburgh Airport offers direct flights to cities including Belfast, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, London, Rome and Paris. The airport is located only six miles to the west of the stadium. Supporters can travel to and from the airport with ease by using public transport, which runs regularly and frequently.
