What a defensive shift that was. Lions keep hold of the ball for the opening five minutes and we manage to keep them at bay before pinching the ball back! Wes Goosen shifts the ball to Darcy Graham who looks to counter quickly with a chip over the top. The wee winger just doesnt get the bounce of the ball however.

TRY NUMBER TWO!!! What a start from the lads! We break down the right through Wes before the ball is recycled quickly to James Lang who gets a neat offload away. Two phases later it's Ben Vellacott who darts over the whitewash. Conversion is again unsuccessful - 10-0!
