Edinburgh Rugby will celebrate the launch of the newly named Hive Stadium with a ‘Picnic on the Pitch’ event on Saturday 16 September.
Supporters are invited to Hive Stadium between 11am-2pm , where fans of all ages can bring their blankets and settle in on the Hive Stadium playing surface for an afternoon of fun with the Edinburgh Rugby squad.
With a host of games and activities set up within Hive Stadium to entertain all the family, and plenty of food and beverage options to purchase in the Hive Stadium Fan Zone, it’s the perfect event to kickstart the unmissable 2023/24 campaign.
What’s more, there will be music to enjoy throughout the day, while fans can hear from players and coaches as the countdown to the season kick-off continues.
Fans can now sign-up for ‘Picnic on the Pitch’ via Eventbrite with a £1 donation (£1 per person), with proceeds from the event going towards the club’s Official Charity Partner, It’s Good 2 Give.
With limited capacity on the Hive Stadium playing surface, fans won’t want to miss out this truly unique event which celebrates both the launch of a new partnership with Hive, and the conclusion of the club’s Our Burgh Summer Sessions.
