Edinburgh Rugby players are preparing to lace up their boots not just for pre-season training this summer but to hit the road and connect with the heart of the #OurBurgh community.
The capital club is proud to announce the 2024 #OurBurgh summer sessions, a series of visits by the Edinburgh Rugby squad to local clubs throughout the capital and surrounding regions.
This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for youth players to meet their heroes, gain valuable insights, and be inspired by the professional game.
Giving back to the next generation
The upcoming summer sessions are more than just meet-and-greets.
The Edinburgh Rugby players will be participating in a variety of activities, including Q&A sessions and training drills alongside the mini-sections of the host clubs.
Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director, Douglas Struth, emphasised the importance of the #OurBurgh programme: “Our community is at the very core of everything we do at Edinburgh Rugby and the Our Burgh summer sessions are a fantastic opportunity for our players to give back to the next generation of rugby stars, share their passion for the game, and inspire them to reach their full potential.”
