Edinburgh Rugby squad update
Edinburgh Rugby has issued the following squad update ahead of Friday’s Scottish Building Society pre-season fixture with Gloucester at Hive Stadium.
Luke Crosbie (neck) – Expected to return to training next week.
Nathan Sweeney (knee) – Continuing rehab and likely to return to fitness later this month.
James Lang (quad) – Expected to miss a number of weeks after sustaining a quad injury in training.
Glen Young (pec) – The lock continues to recover after sustaining the injury with Scotland. Young is expected to return by late October.
Sam Skinner (knee) – The lock continues his rehab after undergoing surgery in the off-season. Skinner is due to return in early November.
Angus Williams (hamstring) – The injury sustained in training will keep Williams out until mid-November.
Robin Hislop (knee) – Hislop continues to recover from a knee injury sustained last year and is due to return to full training by late October.
Jamie Stewart (knee) – The pro-academy prop will miss 6-8 weeks after sustaining the injury in training.
