Edinburgh Rugby to host Gloucester in 2024/25 Scottish Building Society Pre-Season clash

16 Apr 2024

Edinburgh Rugby will play host to Gloucester in the upcoming 2024/25 pre-season, taking on the English Premiership side at Hive Stadium on Friday 13 September (kick-off 7.30pm).

The match is included in the 2024/25 Season Ticket Membership and is once again backed and sponsored by Main Club Partner Scottish Building Society.

It’s the perfect chance to kick-off the 2024/25 campaign at Hive Stadium as we take on a side packed with international talent, who are familiar to the capital faithful, having faced the Kingsholm club in this season’s Challenge Cup.

A 2024/25 Season Ticket Membership will guarantee your place at Hive Stadium for the Friday night lights clash, with tickets set to go on general sale in the lead up to the cross-border match-up.

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director, Douglas Struth said: “We’re thrilled to announce this upcoming Scottish Building Society Pre-Season fixture against a top side in Gloucester.

“It will be the ideal warm-up match to kick-off the 2024/25 campaign, giving fans from both sides the chance to enjoy what should be some brilliant Friday night rugby at Hive Stadium.

He continued: “Thanks to Scottish Building Society for their continued support and backing of our pre-season fixture. We’re excited to work with their brilliant team to bring this match to life in the coming months.”
