Edinburgh Rugby U19s set to face Warriors at Scotstoun
An Edinburgh Rugby U19 squad made up of players from the club’s supporting regions will travel to face Glasgow Warriors U19 at Scotstoun Stadium tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 1 November, kick-off 3pm).
Led by FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy coaches Stevie Leckie, Iain Chisholm and Bert Grigg, the 25-player squad have been in training together to prepare for the intercity match-up, which will see players aligned to both Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors.
Ahead of the fixture, Regional Academy Coach Leckie, said: “This has been a very short programme with the squad only getting three sessions in to prepare for the fixture.
“However, we have a strong group of players and they have prepared well, and we are expecting them to express themselves at Scotstoun on Tuesday afternoon.”
A match round-up with imagery from the fixture will be shared following the full-time result at Scotstoun.
