Gloucester next up at Hive Stadium!

29 Dec 2025

European rugby returns to the capital on Friday 9 January as our men’s team gear up for another massive Investec Champions Cup clash at Hive Stadium.

Following last month’s unforgettable, bonus-point victory over RC Toulon, the stage is set for an epic Anglo-Scottish encounter against familiar foes: Gloucester.

We welcome the Cherry and Whites to Edinburgh in what is becoming a regular fixture on the European stage.

Having faced the Kingsholm outfit in both the 2023/24 and 2024/25 EPCR Challenge Cup campaigns, both sides know exactly what to expect.

These matches are always physical, fast-paced and tightly contested – and with the step up to the Investec Champions Cup, the stakes have never been higher.

The atmosphere at Hive Stadium was electric during our win against Toulon, and we’ll need that same vocal home support to carry us through again.

There is nothing quite like a European night under the Hive Stadium lights. The tight confines and passionate crowd make it one of the most atmospheric venues in the competition.

Whether you’re a seasoned regular or a first-time visitor, this is a match you won’t want to miss.

Tickets are selling fast! Hive Stadium is filling up quickly as fans secure their spots for this cross-border showdown.
