About CBS Consulting

Can you share a bit about the history?

We were founded in Edinburgh almost 2 decades ago, originally helping local Financial Services clients with major technology change programmes.

We’ve since expanded into Retail and Public sectors, added a London office and have a growing client list across the UK and overseas

What unique experiences sets you apart from others in your industry?

We deploy small, specialist, high-impact teams to help our clients achieve their outcomes.

All of our consultants have at least 10 years of experience in the field, combined with exceptional business IQ.  Whether it’s an attack strategy (business growth) or defence strategy (cost control, resilience, regulations), we use that experience and IQ to achieve the best outcome

Sponsorship of James Lang

What led you to sponsor James?

Like Edinburgh Rugby, we rely heavily on attracting the right talent and experience, so it just made sense to invest at player level and extend our long-standing relationship with the club

What qualities do you admire in James, both as a player and as a person?

James is a talented and versatile player, highly effective in both attack and defence.

He is also a hard-working team player, grounded and very down-to-earth.

How does sponsoring James align with your business values and goals?

James’s qualities just resonate with us. His rugby IQ lets him read the game and make make the right plays, and he gives his all.

That’s how we aspire to operate on our playing field every day too

Benefits of the Partnership

What benefits has CBS Consulting gained from sponsoring James?

James has been a great ambassador for CBS, meeting clients and partners at some of our events and he’s been such a talking point for the rugby fans amongst them.

I’m sure he’s also managed to win a few new rugby fans (and Edinburgh fans to boot!)

How has this partnership helped raise awareness of your brand and services?

It definitely creates a buzz of excitement when clients hear about our sponsorship of James and especially if they have the opportunity to meet him at one of our events.

We have been bringing clients to Edinburgh Rugby games for over a decade and this really adds to the whole sense of fun and occasion for them

Future Goals and Aspirations

What are CBS Consultings future goals and aspirations?

As the old cliche goes, the only constant is change.

So CBS is focused on expanding our range of services, helping more clients navigate these changes and achieve good outcomes

How do you envision the partnership with Edinburgh Rugby evolving in the coming years?

Our roots are in Edinburgh, so we look forward to continuing our partnership with the club and hopefully creating some new fans amongst our client base!
