Six themed fixtures unveiled for 2023/24 season

6 Sep 2023

Edinburgh Rugby has today unveiled its themed fixtures for the upcoming campaign, all of which are included in the 2023/24 Season Ticket Membership.

The capital club will celebrate six themed fixtures at the newly named ‘Hive Stadium’ in 2023/24, as the ever-popular Club Appreciation Night and Fan Appreciation Night both return.

The club has joined forces with Official Charity Partner It’s Good 2 Give to help raise both crucial funds, and awareness, for those families and children affected by cancer, with the It’s Good 2 Give Family Fun Night.

Edinburgh Rugby will also pay tribute to those in the Emergency Services, NHS and Social Care Sector, with the all-new Support our Services fixture.

Fans can also look forward to a Festive Fun Day European clash, and Student Night, with plenty of matchday activity planned at Hive Stadium around all themed fixtures.

Check out the breakdown of all themed fixtures and dates below, and book your season ticket to guarantee your place at every regular season fixture at Hive Stadium!

Club Appreciation Night | Vs Benetton, Friday 24 November, 7.35pm

Edinburgh Rugby’s players will once again pull on the socks of their boyhood clubs to pay tribute to the wider grassroots game as Club Appreciation Night returns for the third straight year in the early season match-up against Benetton.

With a £99* Season Ticket for SCRUMS registered club players, and a group discount on match tickets – giving fans the chance to bring their whole squad along to Hive Stadium – it’s set to be another brilliant occasion which properly celebrates those involved at grassroots level.

Festive Fun Day | Vs Castres Olympique, Saturday 16 December, 1pm

In a rematch of last year’s Heineken Champions Cup encounter, French Top 14 side Castres Olympique return to the Scottish capital a week before Christmas for a Festive Fun Day clash.

Get ready to wear your santa hats and sing along to some festive classics as we gear up to face Castres Olympique in a Christmas Cracker! We’ll also have our annual present drop-off, giving supporters the opportunity to donate gifts to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.

Support Our Services | Vs Ospreys, Friday 1 March, 7.35pm

Help us pay tribute to those in the Emergency Services, NHS and Social Care Sector as we face Ospreys on ‘Support Our Services’ night.

With plenty of activity on the night aimed at giving back to those who brilliantly support our local communities, the club will be looking to provide offers on tickets, with more information to come.

It’s Good 2 Give Family Fun Night | Vs Scarlets, 7.35pm

Official Charity Partner It’s Good 2 Give are all about taking care of families, so we’ve teamed up with the local charity for our Family Fun Night where we’ll be looking to raise both money and awareness on an unmissable match night against Scarlets.

With family pack tickets and fan zone activities for kids of all ages, we’ll be hoping to raise plenty of money for It’s Good 2 Give, with fun and games on the night for kids of all ages.

Student night | Vs Zebre Parma, Friday 10 May, 7.35pm

With five Universities and one College, Edinburgh has one of the biggest student populations in the UK… this is match night dedicated to them!

Students can already take advantage of a £99* season ticket and discounted tickets at Hive Stadium, however with plenty of activity planned on the evening – including live music and transport to the match – this a game that students wont’ want to miss!

Fan Appreciation Night | Vs Munster, Friday 17 May, 7.35pm

Edinburgh Rugby’s final home match of the season will once again be Fan Appreciation Night, giving our squad the chance to thank the Burgh faithful for their support throughout the year.

As always, we’ll have giveaways and competitions planned for Season Ticket Members on the night as we take on the reigning URC Champions in a can’t-miss clash.

*All 2023/24 Season Ticket Memberships are subject to a £5 order processing fee.
