Squad update: Benetton week
Edinburgh Rugby has issued the following squad update ahead of Saturday’s BKT United Rugby Championship match against Benetton at Stadio Monigo (22 March).
Mark Bennett (quad) – Awaiting results from a scan after picking up injury in Friday’s development friendly with Saracens.
Emiliano Boffelli (hamstring) – Expected back in training next week.
Charlie Shiel (concussion) – Progressing through return to play protocols.
Matt Scott (neck) – Timeline for recovery still to be confirmed.
Jamie Hodgson (tricep) – Out until late April.
Luke Crosbie (pec) – Successfully underwent surgery. Out until June.
Tom Dodd (shoulder) – Successfully underwent surgery. Out until June.
Lewis Wells (ankle) – Out until May.
Connor Boyle (knee) – Successfully underwent surgery. Expected back in September.
