Edinburgh Rugby has issued the following squad update ahead of Sunday's 1872 Cup opening leg against Glasgow Warriors at Hampden Park.

Ben Vellacott (ankle) – Back fit and available for selection.

Robin Hislop (calf) – Back fit and available for selection.

Ben Muncaster (illness) – Back fit and available for selection.

Paul Hill (calf) – Timeline for recovery still to be confirmed.

Freddy Douglas (ankle) – Out until early February.

Lewis Wells (hip) – Expected to return to training next week.
