Trio selected for Italy Test
Edinburgh Rugby trio Adelle Ferrie, Alex Stewart and Hannah Ramsay are all named in Bryan Easson's Scotland Women squad for their Summer Test against Italy this Friday (25 July, 6.30pm BST) at Stadio Luigi Zaffanella in Viadana
In a significant milestone for Edinburgh Rugby, lock Adelle Ferrie (Corstorphine Cougars) earns her first international start for Scotland. Ferrie will line up in the second row, a testament to her impressive form and dedication.
Joining her in the matchday 23 is Edinburgh skipper and back-row forward Alex Stewart (Corstorphine Cougars), who has been named among the replacements, ready to make an impact from the bench.
Adding to the excitement, Edinburgh Rugby’s very own Hannah Ramsay (University of Edinburgh) could be in line for her international debut. The stand-off has been named on the bench and will be eager to earn her first cap should she be called upon.
