What’s on Guide: Bayonne

Edinburgh Rugby return to action at Hive Stadium this Saturday night (6 April, kick-off 8pm) taking on Bayonne in the EPCR Challenge Cup Round of 16.

As always, we’ve got plenty on the go at Hive Stadium to keep fans of all ages entertained – check out our What’s on Guide below as Edinburgh look to make the last-eight of Europe.

CLUBHOUSE

Gates open at 6.30pm ahead of an 8pm kick-off in the capital, with The Clubhouse – located in the Thistle Suite – the perfect place to stay warm and chat with friends or family ahead of match night.

Grab a drink or some hot food with live European action on the big screens, while a face painter will be on and to add some colour to the occasion!

Simply head to the Thistle Suite via the main front entrance of Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

 

CAPITAL KITCHEN

Want to upgrade your match night dining? Look no further than the Capital Kitchen, located in the President’s Suite, next to The Clubhouse.

With a private suite, arrival drink, two-course meal, contactless bar and post-match pies, we invite you to sit back and relax with your guests, and soak up the Edinburgh Rugby atmosphere like never before.

FAN ZONE

The Hive Stadium Fan Zone will be bouncing once again ahead of kick-off on Saturday night!

With live music from Mark Sharp and Liv Dawn on the unsigned stage, there will be no shortage of singalong classics to get you in the mood for European rugby.

The club will once again welcome Glenalmond College Pipe Band to match night in the capital, with the school band set to perform in the fan zone pre-match, as well as pipe the team onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.

There are plenty of spots around the Hive Stadium Fan Zone where you can quench your thirst or satisfy your hunger on match day. We also cater to wide range of dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan.

 

BALL DELIVERY

The club is delighted to welcome back club legend Allan ‘Chunk’ Jacobsen to deliver the match ball on Saturday night.

The club’s all-time appearance holder returns to Hive Stadium as part of the club’s celebrations of WP Nel, who recently joined Jacobsen and Chris Paterson as the only three players in the team’s double-centurion club.
