It’s Club Appreciation Night!

Club appreciation night returns to Hive Stadium for the third straight year as Benetton visit the Scottish capital.

It’s set to be another brilliant occasion which properly celebrates those involved at grassroots level, with Edinburgh Rugby players once again pulling on the socks of their boyhood clubs, or local sides they’ve adopted for the fixture.

Edinburgh Rugby is delighted to offer all local rugby clubs an exclusive 20% saving on match tickets for this Friday night’s BKT URC clash to help celebrate the grassroots game, and pay tribute to all those at club level – volunteers, referees, committee members – that help make our great game run all year round.

To take advantage of the discount, simply go to the Edinburgh Rugby e-ticketing page and purchase your ticket(s) as normal, entering you club’s exclusive voucher code at check out. There’s no limit to how many you can buy.

Edinburgh Rugby has sent a unique voucher code to all clubs in its supporting regions. Please speak to your club secretary or president to gain access to this code, or email [email protected] for further information, detailing which club where you currently play or are a member.

Duhan presented with 2023 World Rugby Try of the Year Award

We’re delighted to confirm that Duhan van der Merwe will be presented with the 2023 World Rugby Try of the Year Award in the The Clubhouse following full-time on Friday night, for his memorable solo effort against England.

Picking up the ball inside his own half at Twickenham, the winger slalomed through the English defence before touching down, marking one of the most impressive individual Scotland tries ever seen.

Scotland went on to win the match 29-23 with van der Merwe scoring a second try in the game to secure the victory.

Scottish Rugby President Colin Rigby will be on hand to present Duhan with the award post-match, so head to The Clubhouse for the chance to hear from the electric winger!
