Win a training session: Duhan van der Merwe and Pierre Schoeman need you!
Two of Scotland’s top stars are going head-to-head, and they are calling on Scotland’s youth rugby teams for help.
The pair are competing in a coaching masterclass with four lucky teams earning the chance to be coached by the pair.
The winners of the competition will be put through their paces in Hive Stadium by Schoeman, Van der Merwe and their fellow Edinburgh Rugby stars before those attending get the chance to put their questions to the duo with a Q&A and signing/selfie session.
At the end of the session Team Duhan and Team Pierre will play each other in a game of touch to crown the ultimate winner.
Open to all U18 boys and girls junior sides based in Scotland, this training session will take place at Hive Stadium on the afternoon of Tuesday 15 April.
Clubs applying can select to be TEAM DUHAN or TEAM PIERRE, with each side coached by the respective Edinburgh Rugby star.
Schoeman said: “I’m really excited to get out there and share my passion for rugby with the next generation of players.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for young players to learn and have fun. I can’t wait to see the energy on the pitch.”
Van der Merwe added: “This is a unique chance for young players to train with professionals and experience the thrill of playing at the Hive Stadium. We encourage all teams to enter!”
To enter, teams should follow the link below, where we ask those submitting entries to share details on their side and reasons for entering the competition. T&Cs can be found here.
