Tickets for the unmissable 150th anniversary 1872 Cup decider against Glasgow Warriors, which takes place at BT Murrayfield on Friday 30 December (kick-off 7.35pm), go on public sale at 10am today!

Supporters are encouraged to act fast and secure their place at Scotland’s national stadium as Scotland’s biggest stars go head-to-head for much more than intercity bragging rights.

The perfect event to kickstart your Hogmanay celebrations, with a bumper crowd expected, bring along your friends and family and enjoy a brilliant day out at the rugby, while backing your club and city!

Edinburgh will seek to retain the historic trophy, and gain valuable BKT United Rugby Championship points, with both sides celebrating the 150^th anniversary of the first-ever match between the two sides which took place at Burbank on 23 November, 1872.

The last match-up between the two sides at BT Murrayfield saw Mike Blair’s side prevail in hugely entertaining encounter, winning 28-11 to claim both the 1872 Cup and Scottish x Italian Shield on a special day in the Scottish capital.

With tickets already selling fast in the pre-sale windows for both Season Ticket and Castle Club Members, we encourage fans to buy early to bag the best seats available in BT Murrayfield.

Tickets start at £5 for U16s, £20 for student/concessions and £25 for adults, while both a group ticket offer and club commission are available.
