TICKETING INFORMATION

  • When to Buy

    Tickets for the game will go on sale in three stages:

    • Season Ticket Member access: Tuesday 18 October
    • Castle Club Member access: Tuesday 25 October
    • General sale: Tuesday 1 November
  • How to Buy

    All members will be sent instructions as to how to secure, upgrade or purchase additional tickets, members can also refer to this information at this page.

    General ticket purchasers can secure their tickets through the usual method via e-ticketing.

  • Ticket Delivery/Collections

    All match tickets will be emailed to purchasers no later than 48 hours before the match.

    Please contact ticket.centre@sru.org.uk if you have not received your match ticket(s) or have a ticket enquiry.

  • Can I buy tickets on the day?

    Yes.

    Tickets will be available to purchase online right up until the game – e-tickets will automatically be sent to you at the time of purchase and can be scanned on your phone.

  • Can I use my Season Ticket card to access the game?

    No.

    All Season Ticket Members should have been sent an individual match ticket for this fixture. If you have not received yours please contact ticket.centre@sru.org.uk.

     

  • Are there any group ticket offers for this game?

    Yes. We have two group offers that run throughout the season.

    1. Discounted Tickets for groups of 10+ supporters

    Groups of 10 or more can benefit from a 10% discount on all adult tickets purchased.

    Example: A group of 14 adults would receive 10% off all 14 tickets.

    If your group is a mixture of adults, concessions and/or U16s, only the adult tickets receive the discount

    Example: Two adult and eight U16 tickets = 10% off the two adult tickets

    Please note this offer is for Category 3 / Silver tickets only.

    2. Club Commission

    You can support Edinburgh Rugby and your local club / University side at the same time by earning up to 20% commission on match tickets purchased through the club’s ticket secretary, or individually online.

    Club Commission is available for all home Edinburgh home matches across the 2022/23 season, so take advantage and earn some money for your club!

TRAVELLING TO BT MURRAYFIELD

  • By Tram

    Edinburgh Trams runs a fast, frequent service to the entrance of the stadium from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park and Ride, Edinburgh Gateway and Haymarket. Alight from the Murrayfield Stop.

    Citybound trams will be stopping at Shandwick Place from 6pm on matchday (Fri 30 Dec).

    Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding trams using the ticket vending machines at trams stops or on the Transport for Edinburgh App.

  • By Bus

    The following services pass close to the stadium:

    Lothian Buses
    1, 2, 22, 30 at Westfield Road
    3, 25, 33, 38 at Gorgie Road
    12, 26, 31 at Corstorphine Road

    Airlink: 100 at Corstorphine Road

    First Bus: 21A, 22, 38, 38A at Corstorphine Road

    Scottish Citylink: 900 at Corstorphine Road

  • By Car

    There is no on-site parking available for season ticket members or general supporters at this game.

  • Train Strikes

    Although there are currently no plans for train strikes to take place on Friday 30 December, services may be impacted by the industrial action taking place on dates before and after the game. You can find out more on the Scotrail or National Rail websites.

  • Blue Badge Parking

    There are a number of Blue Badge parking spaces available for wheelchair and accessible ticket holders. Blue Badge Parking will be in the Ice Rink Car Park and accessible over Riversdale Bridge.

    Blue Badge parking MUST be PRE-BOOKED, to book a space please email ticket.centre@sru.org.uk.

  • By Bike

    Bicycle parking is available at Edinburgh Rugby matches. Supporters arriving at the East/West Link will be advised to park their bikes at the tram stop.

    Those arriving via Gate D will be able to park their bikes in Saughton Hall Car Park.

    Please note, Edinburgh Rugby takes no responsibility for theft or damage to bikes left at this location.

  • On Foot

    DAM Health Stadium is approximately a 45-minute walk from Edinburgh city centre. From Princes Street head to Shandwick Place, which leads on to Atholl Place, then onto Haymarket Terrace. Continue and either turn left onto Roseburn Street at the Roseburn Bar (for the south turnstiles) or continue and turn left onto Riversdale Crescent at the Murrayfield Bar (for the north turnstiles).

    Turnstiles will open 2 hours before kick-off.

    To avoid queues we would encourage spectators to arrive as early as possible.

  • Bag Policy

    Please avoid bringing a bag to the game if possible.

    An A5 bag is the maximum size permitted at the DAM Health Stadium and all bags will be searched before entry.

    Bags larger than A5 size will not be permitted. There will be no bag drop facilities.

    The only exceptions are bags required for health reasons (including parents with young children). We assume no responsibility for bags in venue.

    There is a max 500ml limit for liquids being brought in to the ground, and the products must be sealed.

    Unless you have health or childcare requirements plan ahead and leave your bags at home, in your hotel, in your car, on the coach or at one of 13 bag-drop/left luggage facilities across Edinburgh (web links listed below).

    As all bags will be searched (medical and childcare exemptions apply) so allow plenty of time to get to your seats ahead of kick-off.

  • What is/isn't allowed into the stadium?

    Please see below for details on what is/isn’t allowed into the stadium:

    Flask of tea or coffee or any other liquids
    Flasks are not permitted. The contents of any flasks will be tipped out and the containers will have to be left outside the stadium.

    Food
    You may bring small amounts of food into the stadium for your own use. Large picnic hampers are not permitted.

    Juice
    In line with other major venues, only sealed plastic bottles of water or soft drinks up to 500mls can be brought into the stadium. No cans will be permitted.

    Air horns
    Only mechanised air horns (blow-through or wind-up) are allowed inside the stadium. Pressurised containers are not permitted.

    Camera
    Small amateur cameras are permitted, but large professional cameras are not. By small, we mean pocket-size digital cameras or SLR cameras with zoom lenses no more powerful than 300mm. Tripods are not permitted.

  • Is there any baby changing facilities?

    There are changing units in the disabled toilets in the lower west (south) stand area and in the lower west (north) stand area. The doors have the appropriate baby changing signs on them.

    There is also a parenting room, accessible from the concourse behind the east stand (north corner) – please ask one of our Blue Crew volunteers or a steward for access to the facility.

  • Changing Places toilet

    We have a Changing Places Toilet available located in vomitory 7 next to the Macron shop in the South West corner of the stadium.

     

  • Payments

    BT Murrayfield is a cashless stadium – payments can only be made by card.

  • Scottish Rugby Store

    The Scottish Rugby Store is located in the South West corner of BT Murrayfield Stadium. The store is open during Edinburgh Rugby fixtures for supporters.

    You can also visit the Scottish Rugby Store online to get your favourite items.

  • What happens if I lose something?

    If you lose any property within the ground, please contact the nearest steward. If you discover the loss after the game, please send a description of the item and your seat details to info@edinburghrugby.org.

  • Is there Wi-Fi at the stadium?

    There is currently no Wi-Fi available at BT Murrayfield.

     

  • Can I smoke at the stadium?

    Smoking is not permitted at BT Murrayfield.

     

  • Food and Drink Availability - Fanzone

    There are plenty of spots around the DAM Health Stadium Fanzone where you can quench your thirst or satisfy your hunger on the match day.

    We cater to wide range of dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan.

    Both draught and canned beverages are available from the Container Bar pouring Tennent’s Lager, Caledonia Best & GUINNESS in a recyclable pint cup. We also offer Magners Cider, Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer (Original and Raspberry), Ossian Golder Ale along with Gin & Tonic, White and Red Wine. A selection of soft drinks are also on offer, including, Coca-cola, IRN-BRU, IRN-BRU Xtra and Strathmore Still Water.

  • Callum Beattie

    Singer-songwriter and Edinburgh’s own Callum Beattie will be performing in the bowl pre-match. Make sure you are in your seats by 7pm to enjoy.

  • Bleeker

    Edinburgh’s favourite double act return to the DAM Health Stadium Fan Zone for a live pre-match show. They will be performing from 5.45-6.45pm so make sure you arrive early, grab a drink and enjoy some classics.

  • Bars

    UHURU RUM

    Our Official Rum Partner will be in their usual spot in the DAM Health Stadium Fanzone with rum cocktails, both hot and cold, on offer. Plus, make sure you check under your seat when you get into the stadium to look out for a pair of Uhuru Rum drinks tokens! One lucky supporter will be able to redeem these on the day.

    GLEN MORAY

    Our Official Whisky Partner Glen Moray will located in the DAM Health Stadium Fanzone with whisky cocktails, both hot and cold, on offer.

    TREAT PLUG

    Satisfy your sweet tooth at the Treat Plug who will be in the fanzone with all their usual pick’n’mix options available.

    DAMOS COFFEE

    Looking for a caffeine fix, head to Damo’s coffee. Flat whites, cappucinos, lattes or espressos – they have all bases covered.

    ADDITIONAL UNITS

    With bars in all areas of the ground, plus food options – from fish and chips to burgers, pizzas and churros – there is something for everyone. We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan.

  • Clubhouse

    If you prefer to be indoors ahead of the game, pay a visit to the clubhouse (located in the Thistle Suite) where you can enjoy sharing platters, burgers, nachos and more. Click here to check out the full clubhouse menu.

    The clubhouse will also be open post match where you can grab a drink.

  • Matchday Programme

    For one game only this season we are pleased to confirm physical matchday programmes will be on sale for supporters at the stadium, make sure to pick up your copy! If you miss out at the game, they will also be available via this link following the fixture.
