Sponsorship of Duhan

What inspired Scotland Rugby News to sponsor Duhan Van Der Merwe?

Since his arrival at Edinburgh back in 2018, Duhan van der Merwe has become one of the premier finishers in not just Scotland, but the global game.

It was magnificent to see him break the Scotland try record in the summer and reclaim it outright in the autumn from Darcy Graham.

What do you admire most about Duhan, both as a player and as an individual?

As mentioned, Duhan is one of world rugby’s biggest stars. His individual talents are clear to see – from his sensational try at Twickenham in 2023 to the countless he’s scored for Edinburgh over the years.

As a person, he has displayed great dedication to Edinburgh and Scotland – most recently by staying with the club and aiming to repay the faith they showed in him.

How does sponsoring Duhan align with your company’s values and goals?

In the same way Duhan’s try-scoring exploits are shining a light on Edinburgh Rugby, at Scotland Rugby News, we believe our content is unrivalled by other media outlets.

Nowhere else would you find the level of analysis we provide our readers and subscribers.
