Lang does well go get to a chipped ball and call the mark. Scarlets then look to play wide but the pass goes forward. Our scrum on half way.
The ball hits the deck as we try to break from deep. Mata absolutely thwacks a young Scarlets debutant which is a welcome to the game.

We’re pushing here. This time we tap and go.
The boys are looking livelier, but there’s a lot of work to do. We win a penalty, and Lang gets us to the Scarlets 5 metre line.

Scarlets nearly break through again, however the attack is stopped by Jamie Hodgson. The lock does will to get to Johnny McNicholl on the wing, chop his man, and force a knock on.
Things just not sticking for us here. The ball is loose at a lineout, and Scarlets pounce to attack. We regather, but can only clear to the 22. Another attacking platform for the hosts.
No doubting this one. Sam Lousi gets his arms free in the contact, and frees a scurrying Steff Evans to score.
Lousi was offside as he stole the ball before Shiel had touched it. We win the penalty and clear to the 22.

We had won a breakdown penalty, however the referee reverses the decision after Hodgson had taken Gareth Davies out off the ball. Scarlets into the corner with a huge chance to score.
Costelow drags the kick and misses by a fraction. Jaco rockets the 22 drop out away.

Lang darts down the wing, and is cut down illegally. We’ll have a lineout in Scarlets territory, relieving the pressure from the Llanelli men.

Scarlets win a penalty at the breakdown with Edinburgh holding on to the ball. The kick to the corner doesn’t find touch, but Scarlets are attacking on half way.
Vaea Fifita intercepts and goes the length.

The Edinburgh men put their first attacking efforts in, with Goosen and Hoyland causing problems. The hosts pounce on the loose ball and look to be in, however a loose pass lets Edinburgh off the hook.
It’ll be scrum on our 10.
The hosts cut through for the opening score. The ball goes wide to Conbeer, who finishes well in spite of the last gasp efforts of Goosen.

Scarlets clear their lines through Costelow. We’ll rebuild from our half after another excellent take from Goosen at full-back.
It was a fast paced opening from both sides! We look to attack from deep, with Glen Young spotting a gap. Lang follows up, with the ball being ripped illegally.
