2024/25 URC fixtures announced

BKT United Rugby Championship has today confirmed fixtures for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

The date and kick-off time for all of 18 rounds of fixtures are now live, allowing supporters to plan ahead for another unmissable campaign in the Scottish capital.

A season ticket membership guarantees your seat or standing terrace spot at every regular season URC match at Hive Stadium.

With prices starting from just £205 (Adults), £140 (Seniors), £104 (Students and SCRUMS registered club players), and £65 (Burgh Juniors Under-16s), there’s a season ticket membership to suit every budget.

With matches expected to sell out this upcoming campaign, a season ticket locks in your ticket for the biggest games, including Leinster, DHL Stormers and Ulster.

Edinburgh kick-off the 2024/25 season with a blockbuster Friday night lights fixture against seven-times league champions Leinster at Hive Stadium on 20 September (kick-off 7.35pm).

Sean Everitt’s side then travel to South Africa for an early two-week tour, taking on Vodacom Bulls (Saturday 28 September, kick-off 3pm) and Emirates Lions (Saturday 5 October, kick-off 12.45pm).

Supporters can look forward to back-to-back Saturday, early evening kick-off, fixtures against South African stars DHL Stormers (12 October, kick-off 5.15pm) and Cardiff Rugby (19 October, kick-off 5.15pm) at Hive Stadium.

Edinburgh close out October with an away trip to face Ospreys (Saturday 26 October, kick-off 3pm), before hosting Benetton at Hive Stadium on Saturday 30 November (kick-off 7.35pm).

The 1872 Cup returns in December with the opening leg against Glasgow Warriors taking place at Scotstoun Stadium on Saturday 21 December (kick-off 5.15pm).

The derby decider against the Warriors will then be played at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on the final Saturday of the year (28 December) at the early 3pm kick-off slot, making it the perfect day out for fans of all ages celebrating Hogmanay in the capital.

Edinburgh kick-off 2025 with an away trip to Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday 25 January (kick-off 3pm).

Sean Everitt’s side then return to Hive Stadium in February, facing Zebre Parma in another Friday night lights clash on Valentine’s Day (14 February, kick-off 7.35pm).

It’s Munster [A] on Friday 28 February (kick-off 7.35pm) and Benetton [A] on Saturday 22 March (kick-off 3pm), before Edinburgh Rugby return to the capital later than month, taking on Dragons RFC under the Hive Stadium lights on Friday 28 March (kick-off 7.35pm).

It’s then into the business end of the year as Edinburgh Rugby close out the campaign with four crucial URC fixtures.

Edinburgh take on Hollywoodbets Sharks at Hive Stadium on Friday 18 April (kick-off 7.35pm) before travelling to face Zebre Parma a week later on Saturday 26 April (kick-off 7.35pm.

A trip to face Connacht on Saturday 10 May (kick-off 7.35pm) is followed by an unmissable regular season Friday nights finale against Ulster on 16 May (kick-off 7.35pm).
