29 Oct 2025

It's time to back our women's team for the full campaign! Edinburgh Rugby is thrilled to confirm that all five of our Celtic Challenge home fixtures are now on general sale, giving fans the chance to secure their seats for every minute of action at Hive Stadium.

The thrilling home season kicks off with a highly anticipated intercity double-header on Saturday 27 December. Head Coach Claire Cruikshank’s Edinburgh side will face fierce rivals Glasgow Warriors women at Hive Stadium (kick-off 12 noon) before the men’s teams battle it out for the 1872 Cup at Scottish Gas Murrayfield later that afternoon (kick-off 3pm).

The return of this electric double-header is poised to be a pivotal moment for the capital side as the Celtic Challenge enters its third season, providing a huge platform and a brilliant atmosphere for the women’s team.

Following this festive cracker, the team will kick off the New Year with an exciting home clash against the Wolfhounds at Hive Stadium on Saturday 10 January (kick-off 3pm).

Get ready for back-to-back Welsh opposition in the heart of the capital as we host two home games in a row: first against Gwalia Lightning on Saturday 24 January (kick-off 1pm), and then against Brython Thunder on Saturday 31 January (kick-off 3pm).

Edinburgh will then look to close their home season in style with a final fixture against the Clovers at Hive Stadium on Saturday 28 February (kick-off 1pm).

With the Celtic Challenge in its third season, the games are getting bigger and bigger, showcasing top-class women’s rugby, and fans are strongly encouraged to book their tickets now to ensure they pack out Hive Stadium for five unmissable games in the Scottish capital!
