About Rianne Downey

The singer, who released The Consequence of Love in October, has had a stratospheric rise. Fresh from a sold-out show at The Old Fruitmarket, Rianne went from busking on the streets of Scotland to performing on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage alongside ex-Beautiful South singer Paul Heaton.

Rianne is a powerful writer, guitarist and performer whose passion for country, folk, and more has propelled her to success. Her debut album, recorded with producer Ryan Hadlock (Zach Bryan, Brandi Carlisle) in Seattle, has earned critical acclaim.

Her journey includes headlining in front of 30,000 people at Warrington’s Neighbourhood festival and continuing to perform with Paul Heaton across 2023, 2024, and 2025, including a landmark gig at Bramall Lane.

Don’t miss the Fan Zone being brought to life with Rianne’s set, along with other music acts and incredible food and drink options!
