Two changes for Clovers trip

20 Feb 2026

Edinburgh Head Coach Claire Cruikshank has made two front row changes for tomorrow’s trip to face the Clovers at Dexcom Stadium (Saturday 21 Feb, 12.30pm kick-off) – live on TG4 and YouTube

Tighthead prop Molly Poolman makes her return to the capital lineup after recovering from a calf injury, while hooker Amy Henwood starts to make her Edinburgh debut.

Henwood joined up with the squad this week on short-term loan from PWR side Harlequins and goes straight into the starting side in the absence of regular start Aila Ronald, who misses out due to concussion.

On the match, Cruikshank said: “The match in Galway will be a huge task for us, facing a Clovers side that have been in red hot form.

“We want to put in a  performance and put our front foot forward in these last few games of the season, and finish the campaign on a high.”

Cruikshank goes for an unchanged backline, with Lucy MacRae starting at fullback in the back-three with ever-present wing duo of Hannah Walker and Cieron Bell.

Hannah Ramsay retains the 12 jersey alongside fellow centre Rachel Philipps, with scrum-half Emily Love and fly-half Nicole Marlow completing the backline.

In the pack, Alison Wilson once again starts at loosehead prop in a new-look front row with Poolman and Henwood. At lock, Adelle Ferrie and Natasha Logan start together in a familiar looking engine room.

The back-row is also unchanged, with Catriona Moody at number-eight with flanker pairing of Alex Stewart and Lauryn McGrotty.

In the replacements, Stirling County hooker Angharad Hopwood is in line for her capital debut if called upon.
