Toulon and Harlequins to visit Hive Stadium as EPCR Challenge Cup fixtures confirmed

Edinburgh Rugby will host RC Toulon and Harlequins at Hive Stadium this season, with EPCR confirming the dates and kick-off times for all four of the capital club's 2026/27 Challenge Cup pool matches.

Edinburgh open their campaign at home to RC Toulon on Friday 16 October (kick-off 8pm) – a side they hold a perfect record against, having beaten them in last season’s Champions Cup.

The second home date arrives in Round 3, when Harlequins make the trip north on Saturday 9 January (kick-off 1pm), the two sides’ first pool meeting since 2016/17 and a repeat of this summer’s pre-season fixture.

Between those two Hive Stadium dates, Edinburgh head to Brittany to face RC Vannes on Sunday 13 December (kick-off 2pm) at the Stade de la Rabine, where former Edinburgh hooker Dave Cherry could line up against his old club.

The pool stage concludes away to Georgia side Black Lion on Sunday 17 January (kick-off 5pm, venue TBC).

With RC Toulon and Harlequins both heading to Hive Stadium in 2026/27, a season ticket is the only way to guarantee your seat for both blockbuster fixtures!
