FAN ENGAGEMENT FORUM
To create an inclusive Fan Engagement Forum where the thoughts, ideas and opinions of players, staff and supporters is equal and creates a collective contribution to key decisions made by the club.
· To strengthen links between the club, its supporters and our community
· To ensure fans have an opportunity to input into key decisions made by the club
· To improve the Edinburgh Rugby experience (particularly on matchday) for the benefit of supporters and our community
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications to join the club’s Fan Engagement Forum are now closed. Keep an eye out for details on how you can apply to become a member ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Appointments are made dependent on applications received, but the desired make-up of the panel would consist of:
· Edinburgh Rugby Staff
· Current & Former Players
· Season Ticket Members
· Occasional Match Ticket Purchasers
· Commercial Sponsors / Partners
· City / Community Stakeholders
We realise that many supporters could be represented in numerous groups, but we wish to provide the opportunity for everyone to have voice. We will continue to conduct regular surveys of our supporter groups to gather insights into the issues affecting Edinburgh Rugby, supporters and the wider community.
While supporters are entitled to apply to represent any group for which they qualify, applications are limited to one per supporter. We therefore ask supporters to apply for the group which they feel best describes their relationship with the club.
ROLE OF FAN FORUM MEMBERS ONCE ELECTED
Once elected, members will be required to attend approximately four meetings throughout the year.
It’s important that when taking on this role, representatives actively interact with other fans to establish a positive community. Representatives on the Fan Engagement Forum will hold their post for one year. This is not a job with Edinburgh Rugby, but is a voluntary opportunity.
