Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club announced as new women’s team on-kit partner

19 Dec 2025

Edinburgh Rugby is delighted to announce Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club as a new on-kit partner for the club’s women’s team.

The Edinburgh hotel’s branding and logo will now feature prominently on the back of the women’s team’s match shorts, debuting tomorrow afternoon as the squad travels to Dublin to face The Wolfhounds.

The partnership will also see The Dalmahoy extend its support beyond the team, becoming the official player sponsors of Edinburgh Rugby and Scotland international Liam McConnell, as well as women’s team captain Hannah Walker, further strengthening the connection between club, players and partner.

The Dalmahoy’s involvement and investment represents a significant show of belief in the women’s programme and aligns closely with Edinburgh Rugby’s ‘one club’ philosophy.

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director Douglas Struth said: “We are delighted to welcome The Dalmahoy as an on-kit partner for our women’s team. They share our deep-rooted passion for the sport and are fully committed to supporting the growth of women’s rugby across Scotland

“By also sponsoring Hannah Walker and Liam McConnell, The Dalmahoy is showing a massive commitment to our players as individuals. This level of support is the spark we need to continue elevating our women’s programme and inspiring the next generation of players.”

Colin Richards, General Manager of The Dalmahoy, said: “Our partnership with Edinburgh Rugby is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we’re especially excited to extend the relationship this season to include the women’s team.

“Both organisations share a deep connection to the city and a commitment to excellence, and we’re looking forward to what we can achieve together both on and off the pitch.”

In addition to their on-kit and player sponsorship, The Dalmahoy will continue its long-standing partnership with Edinburgh Rugby by hosting the club’s annual Golf Day on its Championship course.

The event, a highlight of the club’s commercial calendar, has been rescheduled and will now take place on Wednesday 4 April, further cementing The Dalmahoy’s ongoing support of the club both on and off the field.
