Edinburgh to host Ulster in Scottish Building Society pre-season friendly

Edinburgh Rugby will host URC rivals Ulster in a Scottish Building Society pre-season friendly under the Hive Stadium lights on Friday 4 September, kick-off 7.45pm.

The fixture continues Edinburgh’s preparations for the 2026/27 season and gives supporters a first look at Sean Everitt’s squad ahead of the new campaign.

The match is included as part of the 2026/27 season ticket membership, giving fans another reason to secure their place for the new campaign.

Castle Club members will receive priority access to tickets from Thursday 30 July, before tickets go on general sale on Friday 31 July.

The match-up offers supporters an early chance to see Edinburgh’s new signings in action, including Geordie Gwynn and James Grayson, as well as the club’s new-look coaching team.

Defence Coach Brad Davis and Attack Coach Tim Sampson have both made the move to the Scottish capital to join Head Coach Sean Everitt’s staff for the season ahead.

Fans will also get their first sight of Edinburgh’s new 2026/27 Macron playing kit, which will be revealed later this summer.
