Four Edinburgh Rugby players selected for Maori All Blacks opener
Harry Paterson, Paddy Harrison, Marshall Sykes and Ben Muncaster have all been named in the Scotland squad to face the Maori All Blacks this Saturday (5 July 2025, kick-off 3.35pm local time, kick-off 4.35am UK time) in the opening match of the Skyscanner Pacific Tour.
Harry Paterson, who endured a frustrating summer tour last year due to injury, is set to make a highly anticipated return to the Scotland jersey. The versatile back will start on the wing, donning the national colours for the first time since his appearance against Uruguay last year.
Hooker Paddy Harrison, who made his Scotland debut on last year’s summer tour, will be looking to build on that experience and solidify his place within the national squad as he starts in the front-row.
In the second row, Marshall Sykes earns his spot in the starting XV. Sykes featured from the bench in the final match of the 2025 Guinness Six Nations against France in Paris, and he will be looking to bring his physicality and work rate to the fore against a strong Maori All Blacks side
Rounding out the Edinburgh Rugby quartet is back-row forward Ben Muncaster who starts at number 8.
