Generation Kitchen and Bathroom specialists announced as new on-kit partner

16 Oct 2025

Edinburgh Rugby is delighted to announce a new three-year partnership with leading kitchen and bathroom company, Generation, which sees the thriving East Lothian and now Edinburgh-based business become an official on-kit partner of the capital club.

The new deal will see the Generation logo feature prominently on the back of the team’s Macron match shorts, as Edinburgh competes in the BKT United Rugby Championship and European competitions for the next three seasons.

The partnership kicks off immediately, with the Generation logo featuring on the back of the shorts for the first time this Friday night as Edinburgh Rugby host Benetton in their first URC home game of the season at Hive Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm).

Generation’s increased commitment builds upon their existing relationship with the club, having recently been announced as the title sponsor of the club’s 2025 Golf Day. As part of the new deal, Generation will also be the official player sponsor of club centurion and British & Irish Lion, Hamish Watson, for the 2025/26 season.

Ross Barr, Director of Generation, expressed his excitement at the expanded partnership. He said:

“It’s a moment of real pride for everyone at Generation to be stepping up as an official on-kit partner of Edinburgh Rugby.

“We’ve always been passionate about supporting and backing our local sports clubs, and seeing our logo feature on the official kit as the team competes on the international stage in the URC and European competitions is truly amazing.

“We’re confident this partnership will be a huge success and look forward to being part of the Edinburgh Rugby journey over the next three years.”

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director Douglas Struth highlighted the value of securing a long-term deal with a strong local enterprise.

He said: “It’s brilliant to have the support of another thriving local business in Generation. We know they are driven by quality and innovation, values that align perfectly with our club, and their continued backing means a great deal to us.

“Securing this long-term deal and having their support for the next three years as an official on-kit partner is a huge statement. We are delighted to see our commercial family continue to grow and evolve with the addition of such a strong, local brand.”
