Men’s Scottish Varsity comes to Hive Stadium this Friday night!

The world's oldest varsity rugby match returns to Hive Stadium this Friday (18 September), as The University of Edinburgh host The University of St Andrews in the 2026 Men's Scottish Varsity Match.

Kick-off is 7.30pm, giving you the chance to see Scotland’s two oldest university rugby clubs go head-to-head in a rivalry stretching back over 160 years – older even than the Oxford v Cambridge Varsity Match.
