Picnic on the Pitch returns to Hive Stadium this August!
9 Jul 2026Get ready to kick off the new season in style! Picnic on the Pitch makes its highly anticipated return to Hive Stadium on Saturday 8 August, from 11am to 2pm.
This is your chance to bring the whole family down and pick the best spot to unpack your picnic blanket on the Hive Stadium playing surface for a fun-filled afternoon.
And you won’t be alone – the Edinburgh Rugby playing squad will be there to meet fans of all ages, chat, sign autographs and snap selfies!
There’ll be plenty to keep everyone entertained throughout the afternoon, with live music, games, community rugby activity, partner giveaways and a charity raffle all on the go. Feel free to bring along your own food and drink to make the most of the occasion.
Spaces for this event are limited, so book your spot now via Eventbrite. There is a small donation of £2 (plus a transaction fee) per person, with proceeds going to the club’s Official Charity Partner, It’s Good 2 Give.
