Edinburgh Rugby is delighted to announce its Scottish Building Society pre-season fixtures – a thrilling two-for-one double-header against English Champ Rugby sides Doncaster Knights and Ealing Trailfinders at Hive Stadium on Friday 19 September.

Supporters will have the unique opportunity to watch the full and wider squad take to the field in two back-to-back games, with the capital side facing Doncaster Knights at 5pm, followed by Ealing Trailfinders at 8pm.

One ticket will grant access to both matches, offering excellent value for a night of exciting rugby. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale later this month.

Crucially, this pre-season double-header is included in the 2025/26 season ticket membership, which supporters can purchase HERE.

This double-header will provide a comprehensive look at the full senior squad, with players set to be given valuable game time across both fixtures. A significant number of academy prospects are also expected to feature, showcasing the club’s emerging talent.

This will be the first chance for fans to see some of the club’s new summer signings in action for the very first time ahead of the new campaign, along with the first opportunity to see the team’s new Macron match kit up close.

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director, Douglas Struth, said: “We are incredibly excited to announce this Scottish Building Society pre-season double-header against two top English Champ Rugby sides, Doncaster Knights and Ealing Trailfinders. This promises to be a fantastic night of rugby at Hive Stadium and a brilliant opportunity for our supporters to get along and see most of our senior squad, and academy players, in action.

“It’s a rare chance to see two competitive games back-to-back, giving us the opportunity to welcome our new players to the club in front of our home support. This double-header will play a crucial role in our preparations for the new season, and we can’t wait to build anticipation for what promises to be another exciting campaign ahead.

“We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to Scottish Building Society for their continued support and for once again sponsoring our pre-season fixtures. Their partnership is invaluable to the club.”
