Can you tell us a bit about yourself, your business, and the journey that brought you here?

John Penny Joinery is a small, family-run business specialising in the finer aspects of bespoke joinery. John founded the company after moving to Edinburgh, and over the years it has steadily grown and evolved as new opportunities have come along.

What makes your business unique, and what values are most important to you?

As a small company, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and attention to detail — offering a truly personal service without ever compromising on quality. We’re passionate about challenging ourselves creatively and turning our clients’ ideas into reality.

What inspired you to support this player as a sponsor?

As a lifelong rugby fan, sponsoring Paddy felt like a natural fit and a great way to promote the business. Plus, it’s nice to be able to tell the family that heading to a match is “work”!

In what ways does the player reflect qualities or values that resonate with your business?

Paddy’s journey is incredibly inspiring, he’s still early in his career but has already achieved so much through hard work and determination. His ability to adapt and reinvent himself really stands out, and he’s an all-round great guy.

What do you admire most about the player, both in their sporting career and as an individual?

Dedication, resilience, and the drive to continually improve — mirror how we approach our work at John Penny Joinery. Like Paddy, we’re still young and developing, but we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship we deliver.

How do you hope this sponsorship will benefit your business?
