What’s on Guide: Gloucester Rugby
Get set for Saturday night’s sold-out European clash against Gloucester Rugby at Hive Stadium with our What’s on Guide.
We’ve got plenty on the go to keep fans of all ages entertained as the Cherry & Whites visit the Scottish capital for a first encounter between the two sides since the 2015 Challenge Cup Final.
Supporters should be made aware that Saughtonhall Bridge will be closed for this fixture due to the Six Nations build at Scottish Gas Murrayfield, with no access for vehicles or fans on foot. All supporters will be directed to cross via Riversdale Bridge to enter via Gate D
Please note: The access route via the East-West Link entrance is unaffected by the build.
The Fan Zone
With gates open at 4pm the Fan Zone will once again be packed with a variety of brilliant food and beverage options to keep fans of all ages fuelled for kick-off!
We cater to a wide range of dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan. You can check out what will be on-site on our website.
Uhuru Rum also are in the Fan Zone with their Uhuru Rum Truck, your one-stop shop for a whole range of delicious rum cocktails!
Live music on the unsigned stage
All female band The Laurettes will be playing pre-match in the Fan Zone from 4.25pm, providing the perfect soundtrack for kick-off.
The Scottish duo – who play a mixture of folk, punk, rock and country – will have the Fan Zone rocking as we get ready for a massive European clash in front of a sold-out Hive Stadium!
Glenalmond College pipe band
We’re delighted to welcome Glenalmond College pipe band to Hive Stadium for Saturday night’s sold out European match up.
The pipe band will be playing in the Fan Zone pre-match from 4.05pm as well as on-pitch at half-time – make sure to give them a warm Edinburgh Rugby welcome!

Inflatable Skill Zone
Edinburgh Rugby fans can put their talent to the test in the ‘Skill Zone’, bringing action-packed games and rugby challenges to match night at Hive Stadium.
Situated behind the family-friendly Riverside Stand, the Skill Zone is perfect for kids of all ages – so don’t miss out!
The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse – located in the Thistle Suite – is your perfect spot to grab a table and stay warm both pre- and post match while enjoying drinks and our simplie menu.
We’ll have live Champions Cup action on the big screens while a face painter will also be on hand to add some colour to your matchday in the capital.
Post-match, we’ll have live music from Craig Eddie – so stick around, grab a few beers and enjoy live music after a massive European clash!
