Eight selected for Ireland clash
Scotland Head Coach Gregor Townsend has named eight Edinburgh Ruby players in his squad to face Ireland in the Guinness Men’s Six Nations at Scottish Gas Murrayfield this Sunday (9 February, kick-off 3pm).
Dave Cherry (hooker), Grant Gilchrist (lock), Duhan van der Merwe and Darcy Graham (both wingers) all start the Round 2 clash in the capital which sees Scotland looking to make it back-to-back wins to start the campaign.
Ewan Ashman (hooker), Pierre Schoeman (loosehead), Sam Skinner (lock) and Jamie Ritchie (back-row) are all named among the replacements.
