Backing the Burgh: Season Ticket renewals off to a flyer

Over a third of Edinburgh Rugby’s season ticket members have already secured their place for the unmissable 2023/24 campaign after just over 24 hours of renewals.

Burgh fans have once again backed the team in sizeable numbers with anticipation already building for the new season in the Scottish capital.

Securing a season ticket will save supporters, on average, around 30% on matchday prices, making it an easy choice for existing members to secure their ticket or request an upgrade during this exclusive three-week window.

With an interest free, direct debit payment plan (up to four monthly payments) and student tickets starting at £99, there is a season ticket for everyone with memberships on public sale from Monday 12 June.

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director Douglas Struth has thanked Season Ticket Members for their continued backing, while encouraging those who’ve yet to renew to sign up for the hotly anticipated 2023/24 season.

He said: “It’s been hugely encouraging to see so many fans renew their season ticket after just 24 hours of renewals. Our dedicated season ticket members are the beating heart of Edinburgh Rugby and that level of support is massively appreciated by all of us at the club.

“With a three-week renewal period for all existing members, I’d encourage all those fans who’ve yet to sign up to do so to guarantee their ticket for what is building up to be another exciting season in the capital.

“We’ve seen record-breaking growth in terms of attendances over the last two seasons, and that is down to the unwavering support from our fans.

“Whether you’re together as a family, retired, a young professional, a student or a rugby team, we can’t wait to see you at the home of Edinburgh Rugby next season – we’re all in for 2023/24.”

A 2023/24 Season Ticket Membership secures your place for nine regular season BKT URC fixtures – including the 1872 Cup derby at BT Murrayfield – two EPCR Challenge Cup group stage fixtures and access to the Scottish Building Society pre-season match (opposition and date TBC).

Season Ticket Members can also look forward to an array of benefits, including exclusive open training sessions and member events and priority access to knockout BKT URC and European match tickets, plus prior rights access to additional 1872 Cup derby tickets, and tickets to Scotland Women and U20 fixtures.
