Five to face boks

Five Edinburgh men have been selected by Gregor Townsend to face the South Africa at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in the second Famous Grouse Autumn Nations Series match on Sunday.

Duhan van der Merwe starts on the wing, having once again gone clear as Scotland men’s all-time top try scorer with a score last weekend against Fiji.

In the pack, Pierre Schoeman (loosehead) and Ewan Ashman (hooker) again pack down in the front row, with Grant Gilchrist (lock) behind his capital teammates.

Club centurion Jamie Ritchie comes into the matchday 23, named in the replacements as Townsend opts for a 6-2 bench split to face the Boks.
