Standing room only for Saracens clash
Seated tickets have sold out for Edinburgh's Heineken Champions Cup clash against decorated English Premiership side Saracens this Sunday (22 January, 5.30pm).
Limited spaces remain in the unreserved standing terraces behind each goal which are selling very fast, with supporters advised to purchase early this week to guarantee their spot at DAM Health Stadium, which is set to reach capacity well in advance of the game.
Edinburgh have already qualified for the knockouts of the competition after last weekend’s victory against Castres Olympique, and a win against Saracens could secure home advantage in the Round of 16.
There’s lots to look forward to this Sunday as the club will also continue to celebrate its 150th anniversary and the illustrious list of players that have represented the city, with the clash being our first-ever Club Legends Night.
Supporters can also look forward to a pre-match club legends Q&A in Supporters Clubhouse, giving you the chance to hear from two heroes of rugby in the Scottish capital.
The club is also delighted to welcome home club centurion Tom Brown who will be on hand to deliver the match ball ahead of kick-off.
There is plenty on the go at DAM Health Stadium for next Sunday’s Saracens match. Here’s what supporters can look forward to:
- Pre-match legends Q&A in the Supporters Clubhouse
- Pre-match signing/selfie session in the Supporters Clubhouse
- Toulouse vs Munster on big screens in Supporters Clubhouse (kick-off 4.15pm)
- Match ball delivery from club centurion Tom Brown
- Edinburgh Rugby flag handouts in the Lothian Stand
- Live performance from Merchiston Castle Pipe Band in the DAM Health Stadium Fan Zone/ in-bowl both pre-match and at half-time
