Unmissable Saracens clash sold out
This Sunday’s unmissable Heineken Champions Cup clash against Saracens at DAM Health Stadium (22 January, kick-off 5.30pm) is now sold out.
The ground reached its 7,774 capacity earlier today, with no seating or terrace spaces remaining in DAM Health Stadium for this weekend’s Round 4 tie with the three-times European Champions.
With everything to play for, and a home Round of 16 fixture up for grabs, a full capacity crowd will be on hand to roar on Mike Blair’s side who will be looking to win a third match on the bounce, having already secured a place in the knockout stages last weekend with victory over Castres.
Managing Director Douglas Struth has thanked the Edinburgh Rugby faithful for their support and said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that DAM Health Stadium is now sold out for this Sunday’s European clash with Saracens.
“The support shown by the Edinburgh Rugby fans has been nothing short of incredible and it’s safe to say the stadium will be bouncing come kick-off on Sunday.
“We really can’t thank those attending Sunday’s match enough – it’s set to be a special night of rugby at DAM Health Stadium.”
Edinburgh Rugby Head Coach Mike Blair has echoed Struth’s sentiments and called on the Edinburgh Rugby supporters to create a ‘special atmosphere’ this Sunday night.
He said: “Hearing that Sunday’s Saracens match is now sold out has given the players and management a huge boost. We love playing at DAM Health Stadium and, with a full house, we know our supporters will be able to create a cauldron of a noise and a special atmosphere.
“A massive thanks to all those who’ve bought tickets. It’s our role to represent this great club and city for 80 minutes on Sunday, with our supporters with us from first whistle to last.”
Tickets remain on sale for next Saturday’s BKT United Rugby Championship match against Cell C Sharks at DAM Health Stadium (28 January, kick-off 5.15pm) however with seats and standing terrace areas filling up fast, supporters are encouraged to secure their tickets this week.
