    2. All winners will be decided and contacted before midnight Tuesday 30 June 2026. If a winner is unable or unwilling to accept their prize then no alternative will be offered, and subsequent draws will take place until a new winner is found.

This Prize Draw is open to everyone who is a guest in either the Edinburgh Rugby Business Club and/or Edinburgh Rugby Hospitality who enters the Guess the First Try Scorer competition (either via the ticketing app, QR code or by email) prior to kick-off of any game through the 2025/26 season.

  • Nominate some one to win a Breadalbane Mascot Experience in partnership with British Heart Foundation: November 2025

    PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Entries for nomination must be submitted by an adult (parent or guardian) on behalf of the child. The adult submitting the nomination agrees to be bound by these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions by submitting the nomination.

    The Prize Draw is open to children who will be between the ages of five (5) and twelve (12) years on 9 February 2026.  Scottish Rugby reserves the right to request proof of age, identity and eligibility to enter the Prize Draw.

    Scottish Rugby will collect some personal data from you when you submit a nomination to the Prize Draw. This will be restricted to your child’s full name, age and your full name and contact details (including postcode and email address) so that we may contact you if your child is a winner and to send the prize.  We also ask for your postcode or county to allow Scottish Rugby to comply with its legal obligations set out in condition 6.4 and 6.5.  You can see more about how we manage your personal data in our Privacy Policy.

    1. The Promoter

    The Promoter of this Prize Draw is Scottish Rugby Limited trading as Edinburgh Rugby, a company incorporated in Scotland with registered number SC132061 and having its registered office at Murrayfield, Edinburgh EH12 5PJ (“the Promoter”).

    1. The Prize Draw
      • These Prize Draw Terms and Conditions apply to the Prize Draw running on, and being promoted on, the Promoter’s official website and social media channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) (“the Prize Draw”).
      • An adult is required to complete a nomination form (as detailed in condition 4) and agree to these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions. The adult should be the child’s parent or guardian. The adult must provide their own contact details (not the child’s) when entering the Prize Draw.
      • The opening date for the Prize Draw is 25 November 2025.
      • The Prize Draw will close on 9 February 2026 at 12noon (“the Closing Date”).  Nominations received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified from the Prize Draw.
      • Nominations will be judged initially by a panel of staff from the Promoter after the Closing Date (“the Shortlisted Nominations”). The nominations will be judged on the most compelling details provided in the nomination form.
      • The Shortlisted Nominations will be judged by a panel of staff from British Heart Foundation by 16 February 2026. The decision of the judging panel is final.
      • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a nomination that is not successfully completed, is lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
      • The winners will be notified that they are the winner of the Prize Draw in accordance with condition 6.

      • By submitting a Prize Draw nomination, you as the parent or guardian of the Entrant (as defined at condition 3.1), are agreeing to (i) your child being entered into the Prize Draw; (ii) your child’s name, details and image being recorded and published for promotional purposes by the Promoter or its authorised representatives; and (iii) that you will be bound by these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions.
    2. Eligible Entrants
      • An “Entrant” is a child whose name is submitted to the Prize Draw by their parent or guardian in accordance with condition 4. As the Entrant will be aged between five (5) and twelve (12) years, their parent or guardian must complete the actual submission on the Entrant’s behalf and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Only one nomination per child is permitted.
      • The Prize Draw is open to all children aged between five (5) and twelve (12) years of age on 9 February 2026.
      • Entrants must be resident in the United Kingdom.
      • The Prize Draw is not open to employees of the Promoter, or their immediate families or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Prize Draw.
      • In entering the Prize Draw, the Entrant’s parent or guardian on behalf of the Entrant confirms that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim a Prize (as defined in condition 5 below). The Promoter may require the Entrant’s parent or guardian to provide proof that the Entrant is eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
      • The Promoter will not accept Prize Draw nomination entries that are:
        (a) automatically generated by computer;
        (b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
        (c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
        (d) photocopies and not originals; or
        (e) incomplete.
    3. Nominations

    To enter the Prize Draw, the parent or guardian of the child must complete the electronic form that can be found on https://edinburghrugby.org/.  Nominees should be living with the effects of a heart condition, have been affected by heart disease in their immediate family or have done something to support the British Heart Foundation.

    1. The Prize
      • Each winner of the Prize Draw will receive the following Prize:
        • a Breadalbane Mascot Experience at the Edinburgh Rugby vs Scarlets rugby game on Friday 27 February 2026, kick off at 7.45pm;
        • three tickets to the Edinburgh Rugby vs Scarlets rugby game on Friday 27 February 2026, kick off at 7.45pm (subject to the Promoter’s standard ticketing terms and conditions);
        • three food and drink vouchers to be used in the Edinburgh Fanzone at the Edinburgh Rugby vs Scarlets rugby game on Friday 27 February 2026 (not valid on alcohol);
        • an Edinburgh Rugby match shirt to be given pre-match;
        • an Edinburgh Rugby behind the scenes tour for the winners and their parents or guardians (up to a total of three people) to take place pre-match; and
        • a meet and greet with up to two Edinburgh Rugby players to take place pre-match.
      • The Prize does not include the cost of travel to and from the Hive Stadium, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.
      • This Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
      • The Prize is supplied by the Promoter.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
      • The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
    2. Notification of winning nomination entries 
      • The winners’ parent or guardian will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) before 19 February 2026 that their child is a winner. The Prize or instructions of how to receive the Prize will be sent to the winners’ parent or guardian by the Promoter within (seven) 7 days of being notified that their child is a winner. The prize voucher will be sent to the winners via email to their parent or guardian.
      • If the winners’ parent or guardian does not respond to the Promoter within seven (7) days of being notified by the Promoter or if a winner is unable to accept any element of the Prize due to ineligibility, the Prize in its entirety will be withdrawn and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner from the Shortlisted Nominations in accordance with the process set out at condition 2.6.
      • The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of a winner, other than a parent or guardian claiming a Prize on behalf of their child.
      • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winners to anyone who writes to the Promoter at the address set out in condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw.
      • If you as the parent or guardian of a winner objects to either or both of your child’s surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter will not provide the information to members of the public, but must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority (“ASA”) on request by the ASA, to comply with our legal obligation to do so.
    3. Data protection 
      • The legal basis for which the Promoter will collect personal data in respect of Prize Draw Entrants are (i) its legitimate interest of administering the Prize Draw, and (ii) to comply with its legal obligations in respect of prize draws.
      • The Promoter will use the personal data of Prize Draw Entrants as follows:
        • to contact the winners and to send the Prize to them;
        • to contact an alternative winner and to send the Prize to them if a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time; and
        • to comply with the legal obligation to provide the winners’ surname and county in response to requests for this information from third parties, subject to conditions 6.4 and 6.5.
      • The Promoter will use personal details that Entrants provide to us in line with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
    4. General
      • These Terms and Conditions and this Prize Draw are governed by the laws of Scotland. By entering into this Prize Draw, each parent or guardian of an Entrant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
      • The parent or guardian of an Entrant are deemed to accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry to the Prize Draw.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any nominations that breach these Terms and Conditions or any nominations that, in the sole opinion of the Promoter, are in any way fraudulent or otherwise unlawful or would damage the reputation of the Promoter.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Prize Draw at any time. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice by posting changes to the website https://edinburghrugby.org/. The Promoter will only notify the parents or guardians of Entrants of changes if required to do so by law.
      • Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or that of its employees, agents or distributors. Your statutory rights are not affected.

    1. The Promoter

    2. The Prize Draw and how to enter
      • Upon purchase of an adult ticket for the Edinburgh Rugby vs Glasgow Warriors 1872 game on Saturday 27 December 2025, kick-off 15:00GMT, you will be automatically entered into the prize draw for the prize set out at condition 3. (“the Prize Draw”). Only one entry per adult ticket purchased is permitted.
      • By purchasing a ticket to the game referred to in condition 2.1 and confirming that you wish to enter the Prize Draw, entrants will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and to have consented to: a) entering the Prize Draw; b) the winner’s name, contact details and image being recorded and published for promotional purposes by the Promoter or its authorised representatives; and c) to allow the Promoter to comply with its obligations set out at conditions 4.4 and 4.5.
      • The Prize Draw will close on Friday 19 December at 23:59 (“the Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.
      • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for Prize Draw entries that are not successfully completed, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
      • One winning entrant will be chosen by a random draw performed manually by a member of the Promoter’s staff by Monday 22 December 2025 at 5pm.
      • The winning entrant will be notified that they are the winner of the Prize Draw in accordance with condition 4.

    3. The Prize
      • One winner of the Prize Draw will receive:
        • Use of a private box for up to 10 people at Scottish Gas Murrayfield for the at Edinburgh Rugby vs. Glasgow Warriors match on Saturday 27 December 2025, kick-off 15:00GMT (subject to Edinburgh Rugby’s standard ticketing terms and conditions);
        • The private box will be made available between 12:30 GMT and will close one hour after the match final whistle is blown;
        • Prize includes dinner for up to 10 people and inclusive alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as provided by venues standard hospitality offering. Alcoholic drinks will only be served to guests aged 18 or over in accordance with UK licencing laws. Valid ID may be required.  The Promoter reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears underage, cannot provide valid identification or who is deemed to be intoxicated; and
        • A signed team replica shirt which will be presented to you on matchday by an Edinburgh Rugby squad member.
      • The prize does not include the cost of transport to and from Scottish Gas Murrayfield, additional food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
      • This prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
      • Part of the prize is supplied by the Promoter and part by Vision Scotland.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.

    4. Notification of winning entries

      • If the winning entrant does not respond to the Promoter within twenty four (24) hours of being notified by the Promoter or if the winning entrant is unable to accept any element of the prize due to ineligibility, the prize in its entirety will be withdrawn and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process set out at condition 2.5.
      • The prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of the winner.
      • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winner to anyone who writes to the Promoter at the address set out in Condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw.

    2. The Prize Draw and how to enter
      • Upon completing the form that can be found https://edinburghrugby.org/news-and-features/1872-cup-half-time-challenge/and answering the question “Who was Edinburgh’s only try-scorer in last season’s 10-7 victory over Glasgow Warriors at Scottish Gas Murrayfield?” correctly you will be automatically entered into the prize draw for the prize set out at condition 3. (“the Prize Draw”). Only one entry is permitted.
      • By answering the question set out in condition 2.1 and confirming that you wish to enter the Prize Draw, entrants will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and to have consented to: a) entering the Prize Draw; b) if you are a winner, to your name, contact details and image being recorded and published for promotional purposes by the Promoter or its authorised representatives; and c) to allow the Promoter to comply with its obligations set out at conditions 4.4 and 4.5.
      • The Prize Draw will close on Monday 22 December 2025 at 23:59 (“the Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.
      • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for Prize Draw entries that are not successfully completed, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
      • Two winning entrants, who provided the correct answer to the question set out at condition 2.1, will be chosen by a random draw performed manually by a member of the Promoter’s staff by Tuesday 23 December 2025.
      • The two winning entrants will be notified that they are a winner of the Prize Draw in accordance with condition 4.

    3. The Prize
      • Two winners of the Prize Draw will receive a spot on our It’s Good 2 Give half-time activation which will see 2 x contestants going head-to-head in a rugby obstacle course at the half-time of Edinburgh Rugby vs Glasgow Warriors at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on Saturday 27 December 2025.
      • The winner of the obstacle course is the contestant who finishes the obstacle course first. The winner of the half-time obstacle course will then win 2 x tickets to Edinburgh Rugby vs Gloucester in the Investec Champions Cup on 9 January 2026 kick off at 8.00pm to be played at the Hive Stadium, Edinburgh.
      • The prize does not include the cost of transport to and from Scottish Gas Murrayfield and Hive Stadium (as applicable), food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winners.
      • This prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
      • The prize is supplied by the Promoter.

      • The prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of a winner.
      • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place.
