Edinburgh Rugby ‘A’ to face Doncaster Knights at Castle Park

An Edinburgh Rugby ‘A’ side will travel to face English Championship team Doncaster Knights at Castle Park on Friday 15 December (kick-off 7.30pm).

The fixture will take place on the eve of the club’s EPCR Challenge Cup clash against Castres Olympique at Hive Stadium and follows on from Edinburgh ‘A’’s participation in last season’s FOSROC Super Series Sprint competition.

Edinburgh Rugby Senior Coach, Sean Everitt said: “This fixture is a great opportunity to give players additional game time as the season progresses. We really saw the benefits of putting forward an ‘A’ team for last season’s sprint competition. It gives younger players the chance to step up into a senior environment.

“Doncaster are a quality side and we’re really looking forward to the challenge.”
