Hocking was selected as part of the Scotland 7s team to compete in the 2023 Youth Commonwealth Games in Trinidad and Tobago. His team made history as the first ever team to not only secure a medal at the event, but take home the gold.
The nine played his rugby at Hawick RFC and Watsonians, and was named on the bench for Edinburgh Rugby’s BKT United Rugby Championship Round 3 match against Leinster in November 2023.

Following in brother Matt’s footsteps, Currie impressed while playing for school rugby at the city’s Merchiston Castle School. Currie made his senior debut for the club against Scarlets in January 2025, debuting alongside his older brother.
Scotland U18 lock McVie arrived at the club having featured for Heriot’s Rugby in the FOSROC Super Series Sprint, after playing the majority of his rugby with Edinburgh Accies.
A product of Boroughmuir RFC and the Boroughmuir Bears, Jerry joined the academy alongside younger brother Ollie (tighthead). A dynamic hooker, Blyth-Lafferty has featured for Scotland U20, and starred for Edinburgh ‘A’ in the 22/23 FOSROC Super Series Sprint.
