Luke Crosbie

The back-row has been in sensational form so far this season, picking up October’s Player of the Month Award, and was once again hugely influential in the month of December.

Crosbie put in a devastating shift against Saracens at StoneX Stadium and crossed the whitewash in his side’s home 1872 Cup clash against Glasgow Warriors.

Will Crosbie become the first Edinburgh player to win two Scottish Building Society Player of the Month awards in a season?

Chosen charity: Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity

Viliame Mata

The Fijian international looks better than ever anchoring Edinburgh’s pack with a run of elite performances throughout December.

The club centurion crossed the whitewash against Castres while his fitness levels in both and attack defence has seen the number 8 produce a flurry of monster carries and bone-shuddering hits.

VOTE FOR MATA

Chosen charity: Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity

James Lang

The inside centre is so often the unsung hero in Edinburgh’s backline attack with his skillset perfectly suited for the secondary playmaker role outside 10.

Lang carries courageously and is so often the man making hard yards straight from set-piece strike moves, while his hands allow him to move the ball away from contact quickly, freeing other runners.

Lang’s strong run of form should see him in contention for Scotland’s Six Nations squad.

Chosen charity: Cardiac Unit, Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Tom Cruse

Experienced hooker Cruse joined Edinburgh from Wasps in late November and was immediately selected for action with a number of injuries in the capital side’s front-row.

Cruse wasted no time in endearing himself to the capital support with a run of impactful performances at the coal face, including a near 80-minute cameo from bench against Castres where his tenacious carrying helped Edinburgh secure a bonus-point win at DAM Health Stadium

Chosen charity: My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
