Ben Healy, Luke Crosbie, Matt Currie and Wes Goosen are all nominated for the first award of the campaign after impressing in season opening wins against Dragons RFC (A) and Emirates Lions.

Ben Healy – VOTE NOW

The Scotland stand-off has made an instant impact since joining from Munster in the summer.

A Player of the Match performance in his debut – which saw Healy nudge over 17 points in a road win at Rodney Parade – was followed up by a typically solid display against Emirates Lions as Healy remained perfect from the tee.

Luke Crosbie – VOTE NOW

Crosbie has been a standout performer after linking back up with the squad following the conclusion of the Rugby World Cup.

The back-row has picked up consecutive Peak Performer awards – given to the Edinburgh Rugby player who impressed most on matchday – recording back-to-back games with the highest number of tackles made.

Crosbie crossed the whitewash in the Round 2 victory over Emirates Lions to add further shine to an altogether impressive day at the office.

Matt Currie – VOTE NOW

Currie has been handed back-to-back starts to begin the season, grabbing the number 12 jersey with both hands with a run of impressive performances.

Starting at inside centre in both wins to begin the campaign, Currie has been asked to take on a new role having regularly been selected at outside centre.

The former Dumfries RFC and Merchiston Castle centre has offered Healy a safe pair of hands in the 12 channel, acting as a pressure valve with plenty of hard runs and dirty work at the breakdown.

WES GOOSEN – VOTE NOW

The winger has been all-action in the opening rounds of BKT United Rugby Championship fixtures, starting in both wins against Dragons and Emirates Lions.

Goosen showcased his explosiveness with a brilliant chip-chase turnover penalty away at Rodney Parade, while his aerial prowess was a joy to behold against Emirates Lions, collecting two high-balls which set up Ewan Ashman’s eventual match winner!
